Abstract: |
In order to increase the lipid productivity of microalgae and reduce its harvesting cost, the effects of mono-cultivation and co-cultivation of Monoraphidium sp. eh1 and Monoramidium sp. eh3 were compared, and the method of raising the flocculation efficiency of microalgae after culture was studied. The results showed that the co-cultivation of Monoraphidium sp. eh1 and Monoraphidium sp. eh3 significantly increased the lipid productivity(38.82 mg/(L·d)) compared with mono-cultivations(1745 mg/(L·d) and 15.35 mg/(L·d)). By adjusting the pH to 7.0 after co-cultivation, the flocculation efficiency of settling for 30 min reached 95.38%, which was equivalent to the flocculation efficiencies of the system added with flocculant. Compared with the flocculation efficiencies of mono-cultured eh1 and eh3 of 10.01% and 53.60%, there was a significant increase. Therefore, the method of co-cultivation technology combined with pH adjustment could provide a feasible solution for increasing the lipid productivity and reducing the harvesting cost of microalgae. |
