Abstract: |
To explore the effects of edible oil on serum lipid level, obesity and diabetes susceptibility, peanut oil, olive oil and lard were administered as experimental subjects to mice by gastric in the doses of 6 g/(kg·d)(low), 12 g/(kg·d) (middle)and 18 g/(kg·d)(high)for 64 d. The serum lipid level, obesity, indexes of liver and heart, blood sugar level and the susceptibility of alloxan-induced diabetes were detected. The results showed that compared with the normal group, the serum low density lipoprotein cholesterol content decreased remarkably(P<0.05) in low-dose lard group, the high density lipoprotein cholesterol content increased(P<0.05,0.05 |
