Abstract: |
Based on the study of tea saponin-assisted aqueous extraction processing, multi-stage countercurrent aqueous extraction conditions of oil-tea camellia seed oil were optimized by orthogonal experiment. The quality indexes of oil-tea camellia seed oils obtained by multi-stage countercurrent aqueous extracting process, traditional pressing method, solvent extraction, ethanol-assisted aqueous extraction and supercritical extraction were compared. The results showed that the optimal extraction conditions were obtained as follows: extracting with water, extraction temperature 50 ℃, pH 10, solid-liquid ratio 1∶ 3, single stage extraction time 30 min. Under these conditions, the oil extraction rate was 88.25% and the oil-tea camellia seed oil had good quality and it was rich in beneficial compounds such as polyphenols and squalene. The multi-stage countercurrent aqueous extraction process was safe and environment-friendly with small consumption of extraction agent and low temperature, and it could ensure the quality of oil and extraction efficiency. The process had the potential of application and promotion in the extraction of vegetable oil. |
