Abstract:
      Nervonic acid is a long chain monounsaturated fatty acid originally found in the white matter of the mammalian brain. It can repair neurocytes and promote the regeneration of nerve fibers in the brain, and plays an important role in the prevention and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases and nervous system disorders. In recent years, the research and application of neuronal acid have attracted much attention in the world. The source of nervonic acid from animal, plant, microorganism or by chemical synthesis, as well as the effects on brain tissue, central nervous system disease, cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, immune enhancement and prevention of AIDS were reviewed in order to provide reference for the development of nervonic acid products.
