Abstract: |
ω-3 Polyunsaturated fatty acids mainly include α-linolenic acid, EPA and DHA. They are important lipid nutrients, and widely found in plants, fish and algae. ω-3 Polyunsaturated fatty acids can effectively promote human growth and development, and it has important physiological functions in anti inflammation, anticaner, prevention of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, diabetes, and reducing blood lipid. The sources and physiological functions of α-linolenic acid, EPA and DHA were separately described, and their respective characteristics and advantages were analyzed. The application prospect of α-linolenic acid was prospected. |
