Abstract: |
:Sulfur emission from liquid fuels is one of the major sources of environmental pollution. The sulfur content of biodiesel produced from waste oil often exceeds the national standard. The desulfurization experiment was carried out by three adsorbents (activated carbon, anion exchange resin and activated clay) under the same conditions. The results showed that the desulfurization effect of activated carbon was better. The optimal desulphurization conditions of activated carbon were obtained as follows: dosage of activated carbon 3% of the swill-cooked dirty oil biodiesel, adsorption temperature 65 ℃ and adsorption time 30 min. Under these conditions, the desulfurization rate was 11.7%. A remarkable desulfurization effect could be achieved when the swill-cooked dirty oil biodiesel was washed with hydrogen peroxide followed by secondary negative pressure distillation with the desulfurization rate 77.8%. The optimal desulfurization process of the biodiesel prepared from the swill-cooked dirty oil and palm acidic oil was that the raw oil was washed with hydrogen peroride, and the crude biodiesel produced was treated by secondary negative pressure distillation. The final desulphurization rate of biodiesel products reached 95.6% and 933% respectively, and the sulfur contents were 6.7, 8.9 mg/kg, which met the latest national VI diesel emission standard (GB 19147—2016) with sulfur content less than 10 mg/kg. |
