| Abstract: |
| With six kinds of okra seeds(Kaliba,ACF,Red okra,Yangguifei,White okra and Fibrous finger)as materials, the yield, yield composition factor, oil content, protein content, fatty acid content and amino acid content in okra seed were determined and compared.The results showed that Yangguifei had the highest seed yield and Fibrous finger had the highest protein content. The average oil content in the six varieties seed was 19.37%.The content of linoleic acid was the highest in okra seed. 17 kinds of amino acid were detected in okra seeds. Among them, the content of glutamate(Glu)was the highest. |
