Abstract: |
The seed from Chimonanthus praecox cv.Luteus was divided into seed coat and kernel. The oil contents in seed coat and kernel were determined by Soxhlet extraction, and the seed coat oil and kernel oil were extracted with n-hexane. The chemical components of the seed coat oil and kernel oil were analyzed by GC-MS. The results showed that the oil contents in seed coat and kernel were 12.14% and 3251% respectively. 16 fatty acids were detected in seed coat oil, in which 14 fatty acids were qualitatively identified with contents of octadecadienoic acid(57.70%)and palmitic acid(2178%)as the highest. 16 fatty acids were detected in kernel oil, in which 13 fatty acids were qualitatively identified with contents of octadecadienoic acid(56.76%)and palmitic acid(17.03%)as the highest. 18 and 19 unsaponifiable matters were identified from seed coat oil and kernel oil respectively, mainly including tricosane and eicosane. The oil from Chimonanthus praecox cv. Luteus seed was rich in unsaturated fatty acids, so it had higher development and utilization value. |
