As a new type of oilseed with high nutritional value, sacha inchi seed has important development value. The qualities of 102 samples of sacha inchi seed in Xishuangbanna, Puer and Honghe in China and Laos were determined, and the effects of origin, diseases and pests and fertilization on quality of sacha inchi seed were analyzed. The results showed that the average contents of oil and protein in sacha inchi seed were 37.4% and 22.1%, respectively. The contents of unsaturated fatty acid and linolenic acid in sacha inchi seed oil were 92.17% and 45.34%, respectively. The origin had significant influence on the quality of sacha inchi seed, while fertilization, diseases and pests had little influence. There were significant differences in protein, stearic acid and linolenic acid contents among sacha inchi seeds from different regions. The protein content of Xishuangbanna was significantly higher than that of Puer, and the stearic acid contents of Laos, Xishuangbanna and Honghe in China were significantly higher than that of Puer in China, while the linolenic acid content of Puer in China was significantly higher than that of Laos and Honghe in China. In addition, fertilization could increase the oil content in sacha inchi seed. |
