Abstract: |
Using Scenedesmus obliquus as the research material, NaNO3, NaNO2, NH4Cl, urea (CO(NH2)2) as nitrogen sources and Na2CO3, C6H12O and CH3COONa as carbon sources, the effects of different nitrogen and carbon sources on the growth, Fv/Fm, total lipid and fatty acid composition of S.obliquus were studied. The results showed that the biomass, chlorophyll a content and Fv/Fm of S.obliquus reached the highest value when the CO(NH2)2 was used as the nitrogen source, while the nitrogen source of NH4Cl was not beneficial to the growth of S.obliquus. When NaNO3, NaNO2 and NH4Cl were used as the nitrogen sources, the effects of three carbon sources on the growth of S.obliquus were not significant (P>0.05). In the CO(NH2)2 environment, the addition of Na2CO3 significantly increased the biomass of S.obliquus compared to the other two groups (P<0.05).It indicated that the combination of CO(NH2)2 and Na2CO3 was more conductive to the growth of S.obliquus.Among all the twelve treatments, N1 (CO(NH2)2+Na2CO3) and Y2 (NaNO2+C6H12O) had the highest total lipid, accounting for 23.14% and 21.54% of the dry cell weight, respectively, while the relative contents of oleic acid in algae oils were 57.92% and 57.81% respectively. Therefore, using CO(NH2)2 as the nitrogen source and Na2CO3 as the carbon source had certain application prospects for either the biomass accumulation or the lipid production of S.obliquus. |
