Abstract: |
Natural oil-tea camellia seed oil soap solution was prepared by oil-tea camellia seed oil and potassium hydroxide, with polyethylene glycol as catalyst and ethanol as solvent. The preparation conditions of natural oil-tea camellia seed oil soap solution were optimized by single factor experiment and orthogonal experiment. The physicochemical indexes of the product such as surface tension, critical micelle concentration, foaming properties and emulsifying ability were investigated.The results showed that the optimal conditions for preparing oil-tea camellia seed oil soap solution were obtained as follows: reaction temperature 90 ℃, reaction time 6 h and dosage of alkali (1 mol/L potassium hydroxide solution in ethanol) solution 60 mL(10 g oil-tea camellia seed oil). Under these conditions, the saponification rate reached 8524%.The critical micelle concentration, the minimum surface tension and emulsification water separation time of the product were 0.95 g/L, 21.07 mN/m and 5.06 min respectively. The foam height decreased from 14.54 cm at 0 min to 13.97 cm in 5 min with the foam stability of 96.08%. The results of physicochemical performance indicated that the oil-tea camellia seed oil soap solution had excellent surface activation properties. |
