Scenedesmus bijuba was mutated by plasma under different input voltage conditions, three dominant mutant strains (T-2, T-5, T-6)were screened out at 140 V. By measuring the biomass, photosynthetic performance parameters, lipid accumulation and other indicators of the mutant strain and the original strain during the cultivation period, the effect of plasma mutation conditions on the lipid accumulation of Scenedesmus bijuba was explored. The results showed that the biomass, triglyceride yield, total lipid content, and total lipid productivity of the best mutant strain T-5 cultivated for 35 d were 764.1 mg/L, 263.0 mg/L, 38.2%, 8.3 mg/(L·d), respectively, which increased by 13.6%, 58.9%, 47.5%, 66.0% compared with the original strain. The contents of chlorophyll a and carotenoids of mutant strain T-5 increased, which could maintain good photosynthesis. On the contrary, the protein content of mutant strain T-5 lowered by 24.4% than that of the original strain, indicating that the accumulation of lipid in the mutant strain was promoted at the expense of protein consumption in the later stage of cultivation. |
