Abstract: |
In order to promote the basic research and comprehensive development and utilization of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge oil, the nutritional ingredients in X. sorbifolia oil were reviewed, the influencing factors of the nutritional ingredients composition and content of the oil were analyzed, and the edible safety evaluation and functional activities of the oil were summarized. The prominent feature of the fatty acid composition of X. sorbifolia oil is that it contains high nervonic acid and erucic acid. In addition, X. sorbifolia oil contains micronutrients such as phytosterols and vitamin E. The origin, processing technology and storage conditions affect the composition and content of nutrient ingredients in X. sorbifolia oil. The oil has neuroprotective, antibacterial, antioxidant and other effects. Based on its nutritional components and functional activities, X. sorbifolia oil has great market development prospects, and its health risks, edible safety and toxicology should be further evaluated to provide a reference for the development of X. sorbifolia edible oil resources. |
