| Abstract: |
| The rotocel extractor is the most widely used continuous extraction equipment in China. To enhance the extraction and drain efficiency of the rotocel extractor, the traditional rotocel extractor was upgraded by adjusting the angle of the new solvent spray nozzles, adding miscella tank, miscella circulating pump, and miscella spray nozzles. The upgraded rotocel extractor was integrated seamlessly with the vacuum drain machine. The wet meal, after preliminary draining, entered the vacuum drain machine through the en-masse scraper conveyor, effectively extending the length of the drain section and prolonging the drain time. The use of a vacuum fan enhanced the drain efficiency, further reducing residual oil content in the meal and solvent content in the wet meal. Practical experience showed that the combined application of the upgraded rotocel extractor and vacuum drain machine reduced solvent and total steam consumption, improved oil yield, achieved significant economic benefits and demonstrated strong potential for widespread adoption. |
