| Abstract: |
| In order to investigate the contamination of aflatoxin B1 (AFB1) and cyclopiazonic acid (CPA) in peanut oil in China, 126 bulk peanut oil samples were collected from individual workshop in 20 cities of 12 provinces of China, and 27 brand peanut oil samples were purchased from market. The contents of AFB1 and CPA in peanut oil were detected by HPLC. The results showed that AFB1 and CPA were not detected in 27 brand peanut oil samples. Among 126 bulk peanut oil samples, AFB1 detection rate, AFB1 exceeding rate and CPA detection rate were 44.44%, 11.11% and 7.14% respectively. AFB1 contamination of bulk peanut oil in Henan, Fujian, Guangxi and Shandong was more serious. There were potential safety hazards of mycotoxin contamination in bulk peanut oil in China, so supervision department should strictly control the quality of peanut and the link of processing to ensure the safety and quality of bulk peanut oil. |
